needs a front brake - old one ceased up, and has been removed. he said he rode it on Sunday and the battery was dead last night so that can't be good.
Speedometer cable needs to be replaced
there was some electrical tape around the spark plug wires, where the previous owner had "changed" them - I don't know what that was about
it was dark so I couldn't get that good of a look at it, paint seemed in good condition, just some rust on the chrome around the turn signals and such
How much did he want for it? I'm interested....

welp, I picked up the CB350 on Friday.
the bike had been sitting for a couple years so I need to get it on a charger and it seems as the fuel has gone bad. So i'l have to drain the tank.
Other than that it seems to be in great condition, well at least for a bike that is 37 years old - jesus that seems a lot older than I thought, haha.
Whats the deal with getting it inspected? I'm going to the DMV today to title it, but where the hell do you take a 40 year old bike to get inspected?

You don't. Get antique tags.

Everyone i talked to about the Scorpion 1000... they said the flip down sunglasses didnt come down far enough to really be effective, and if it really came down low enough, it would probably cut your face up in an accident.

Let me know if you need help getting that thing running. If the fuel has gone bad the carbs have to come apart... fucking POS CV carbs too. Ugh.

I drained the tank today, cleaned the float bowls and got a new battery.
the bowls were surprizingly clean, but I'm thinking the rest of the carbs will probably need a once over?
the little filtery thing in the petcock was kinda fuxord. It's all squashed. So that could be another issue - all in good time.
Hopefully with the new battery, new gas and some semi-clean carbs it will run tomorrow.
oh and I also delivered as promised - bitch-bar is off. the bike already looks 10x better. If I'm not off riding around tomorrow Ill clean it up and take some new pictures.
Take the jets out of the carbs, soak them in simple green, rinse them out and blow them clear with compressed air.

You know, Kaan loves(ed) his FZR, and I guess they're a decent starter bike but they do have a weird problem that happens with *some* clutches, their tire sizes are funky, but otherwise I guess it's ok. Price is right.

You know, Kaan loves(ed) his FZR, and I guess they're a decent starter bike but they do have a weird problem that happens with *some* clutches, their tire sizes are funky, but otherwise I guess it's ok. Price is right.
finding rear tires are a pain. and the clutch problem can be avoided by using the clutch as little as possible  just dont pull in the clutch when you are slowing down until you "need" it. high revs + pulling in the clutch = 3 pieces welding themselves together.
