Guys, you had better get on the Hotel's. I called up a few close by and they are all booked. I didn't try the shoney's but the Sleep Inn still had a few rooms available.

There is a big conference in town that weekend. Rooms are blocked but will not sell out all...more will come available I am sure

The weekend we are at Hyperfest also has a Fraternal Order of Eagles national meeting where they have booked 850 hotel rooms. One more thing to make this event interesting, huh? All the hotels I have spoken with say that they will not use that many rooms and many rooms will become available in May depending on when the hotel's cutoff is for that group. So, please put this info on the hfest site:

On the same weekend of Hyperfest, there is a large conference group that has reserved over 800 hotel rooms. Many of these rooms will be released either May 1 or May 15, so if you have trouble finding a hotel room early, you may have more luck after that time. These hotels below currently have rooms, but other hotel chains will have rooms after the above cut off dates. I was not able to establish any large blocks at any hotels so there is no NASA rate available. Just ask for lowest rate.
