when did you buy your first house?

did you do it alone or did you need your wife's salary too?

24 and yes, but our combined salary was ~$62k so that makes up for housing prices today. You can have roommates. Tongue

The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

I am aware I can have roommates - but lets just sit back and take a look at the current situation.

I have no dire need to live on my own. My parents allow me to live at home while I save for a house. I am very greatful for it. I do not need to have a apt or a house to bring BiTChES back and impress. I got my girl - I am set.

You are lucky you bought the houses when you did - but with that you are also about 6 years older than me. You better than anyone should know if you are going to buy a house NOT to rely on roommates

How the hell did we go from a pair of motorbike gloves to buying houses?

Paul - I called you out on your GP Tech nutswinging because, although it's great that you like them you have a limited basis for comparison. All you've done is own them, you haven't worn any other high quality gloves for an extended period of time - so what do you have the A* to compare to? In addition to that, what knowledge do you have of protective material and construction? Like I said, it's great that you like them; without a basis for comparison, though, it's just a pretty picture.

Moreover, those gloves are not warm enough for 45* riding. If you've done it, great, I can only theorize, though, that it wasn't for a long period of time, or you were progressively losing the finer abilities to control your hands. I would suggest that you stop saying they're fine for "winter" use. If you don't ride below 45* you haven't ridden in winter weather. Not to be an ass, but that's pretty much just the case.
When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.

I'm saying don't go posting information that you don't know is valid and claiming it to be so. I've called you on it twice in that past week. Don't go pulling personal criticism on me because I said you're not correct... that's childish. If you don't understand the effect of cold on bloodflow and what that can do to your hand control.. then, what do you want me to tell you?

I cant drive to work (HOV and parking situation) so if i dont take the bike, I'm on the metro - its not a bad way to go, but takes a little longer and I'd rather ride Smile
