i like the RB as compared to the Rewind... that said, i think i might prefer smaller than a 15...

Also, how does $55 x 4 = $500?

Mike: I also like the style of wheel. However, I'm avoiding a staggered setup with this car b/c that is all I've ever run and I've come to really dislike not being able to rotate my tires.
Derek: panasports are perfect on this car, but they are also expensive. I've got that pic and it's one of the many backgrounds I rotate through.
Rex: Where'd you find $55 Rewinds? If I can get them for $55, I'll buy them today and get the RBs once the car is closer to my end goal.

Don't you :?: me, Mr. Gay. I'm well aware of the requirements but,
#1: I don't see any stickers on Cobetto's burgundy E30
#2: Having 4 stickers on your car for a year seems a small price to pay for such a retarded discount and
#3: I very seriously doubt they're sending their hounds after HPDE'rs.
1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442
you earned every bit of that :?: , killer
so that gives you the right to abuse the benefits? because you saw someone else do it or you dont think you will get 'caught' ? Nice logic. (and you have no idea what cobettos deal is as director)
not many sponsorships or benefits come around to road racers (let alone HPDErs) and abusing the few that we do get is one of the big reasons why.
You can certainly do whatever you want, and you probably wont get "caught". But Im going to call you out on it, and dont get all butthurt when I do. Dont act like they are $55 wheels with no strings attached, you're aware of the stipulations and requirements before you sign the form to get the wheels.
now we can get back to drooling over Dave's Z
I'm not suggesting Dave skirt any rules, but everyone makes it out to be such a ball and chain to put four stickers on your car for cheap ass wheels. I was throwing it out as an option and the :?: was completely unwarranted.
1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442
you earned it, and i rest my case on your 'not getting caught' logic.
moving along....

seems like a good deal, even if not a great rollbar.

Whatever. I was just trying to make a suggestion. I should have learned not to do that long ago, lest I get shat upon.

OK boys, settle down. I forgot about the Konig deal and I'm going to look into it a little deeper and send off an application. I can always turn it down if they offer it to me. The old Konig deal did appear to actually be no-strings-attached, the new one not so much. Also, in case anybody else is interested in this exact wheel, the price is actually $70/wheel, not $55, according to the actual sponsorship application.
I know Feersty's choice, but should I get silver, or graphite w/ polished lip?
Evan, that's a pretty good looking rollbar, but I think I'm going to get a custom cage welded in and do it all at once. I'll probably have the frame braced up and seats installed all at the same time.
my vote is graphite.

For Dave cause I have no idea what the wheels look like, and I am not lazy:
Rota RB
Konig Rewind
Seems like the difference between these is negligible, I would go with the cheaper one.
2017 Mineral White BMW M240i Cabriolet
2014 White Platinum Pearl Explorer Sport
Living in the Alamo City.
210
the difference is not negligible... the spokes are very differently shaped.

while they are differently shaped, with the RB having more likeness to the Panasport, the Rewind would look good on my car and considering I could potentially have 2 sets of rewinds for the price of the RB, it is probably worth it at the moment.
I'd rather have the RB, but I'm more interested in saving money in my budget to have a better suspension than having the blingy wheels
