currently shopping for: place to do my exhaust, driver's side mirror, bolts to secure a/c block off plate, rubber sealant.

recently done list: removed window seals that were dryrotted (going to seal with rubber), replaced dimmer switch, replaced all bumper mounts (much more secure now), installed mirror adjustment blank plate (used to have a hole in my dash), fixed exhaust enough to get around without waking the dead.

must do: install a/c block off, get new b-pipe welded on, get inspected, new air filter, new driver's side mirror, secure front lip.

want to do: seats, harnesses, install header, install intake manifold, rear sway bar, alignment, new dizzy, new wires, new cluster or get a monster tach, oil pressure and water temp gauges, broadway mirror, lightweight battery, cf hood, cut removed interior panels to fit around roll bar.[/quote]

what kind of rubber seal are you going to use? just curious

uhhh something that comes in a caulk-like tube so i can spread it pretty nicely in a bead. probably not a great solution, but cheap and effective. it should come off with a knife if i ever need to get a new windshield again (just put a fresh one in).

ah i gotcha. i was curious about if you meant tube-style sealant. i've used silicone sealant alot in my old industrial design projects and that stuff is pretty cool. just use an ice cube to smooth out the bead and it'll stay on there forever.

damnit, so apparently one of my rear calipers is seized... yeah, one that was new just a year ago.

put in the sparco evo today... actually seems to sit a little higher than the del sols, but holds me 10x better. had to dremel a bit (not sure why it fit like shit) on rj's old mount, but it's in there. 6lbs reduction... contemplating removing the passenger seat and selling the other evo or just picking up a cheap sparco mount for it... one saves weight, evens out my weight distibution, and saves me money, but the other allows to me continue taking passengers... hrm...

tomorrow: harness (if i have all the bolts), seal front window, check out rear caliper.

pulled the passenger side seat today... listed the del sols for sale and the extra evo as well. $500 seat + whatever mounting will cost isn't worth it for a passenger (sorry folks). i'll either carry a stock seat with me to the track or find a cheap POS race seat for over there. i'm all about saving $800ish and keeping 30lbs out of the car

caliper seems to have gottten unseized a little. i'm going to mess with it more tomorrow... i couldn't find anything wrong with it :?

it is brand new and i'm in no rush to sell so i'd like to get what i paid... if you're interested i'll take a look at my receipt. i have it listed on h-t for 600, but would sell at cost to an mm member.
