Im out, now chance in hell the car will be ready. And even if it is, I dont want to find out about what part I didnt install correctly in Kershaw SC.
Besides you don't gotta wait for Kershaw SC to find out what you didn't install correctly, that's what the beltway at 4am is for. BATTLE STAGE!!!
I'm registered, just trying to find out who else is going. I think Pete is also planning on going.
John, when are you planning on leaving?
Plans are for Furball, Gabe and I to leave NoVA around 11am on Friday, we're heading to Danville and hoping in with Adkins for the remainder of the trip.
The Z owned me last night. Finished up installing refurbished/cleaned injectors, and got a lot of clean up work done, but now she won't start. Cranks and cranks and cranks, but no starty. Triple checked correct routing of all vacuum/fuel/coolant lines, battery charge is good, no leaking of fuel from the new fuel rail/injectors. I don't know. I still need to check the fuel pressure. After that, maybe FPR or dampener is clogged? Who knows.
Suffice to say, we're still going to CMP, but I'm probably *not* driving... Argh.
My two feet.
Just go through and think of everything you did start to finish. The injectors are sealed by rubber O rings right? Could one not be sealing correctly causing a vacuum leak? Air in the fuel lines? Try pumping the gas pedal too - my car was really hard to start after replacing my thermostat for some reason (didn't want to catch at all.) Used the old starting trick floor-release-floor-release-keep floored. Caught and ran perfectly 3-4 revolutions later. Good luck.
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.
