Where do you guys want to meat up friday evening? I think both me and chan will be around all day, so it doesnt matter really. Chan's place may be better since my apt complex has a gate that actually works.

My address: 610 Ashford Parkway, Atlanta Ga 30338 - mapquest it.

Be sure to have the keg tapped before Matt and I get there... and be sure to place it right next to wherever Matt will be sleeping... Wink

I think Matt and I will be leaving NoVA late morning, so we should be there around 8PM or so. I'm not going to trailer down, so I should be able to maintain a nice pace on the trip down. Hopefully it won't rain as my RA1s have no tread... Smile

Ok, Listen up everyone...To plan for Saturday night's festivities, I need to know who is coming down to Georgia (besides the devil...har-de-harhar) next weekend and who needs a place to crash, etc.
The following already have reservations at Casa de Preston:

1. Chapins
2. Chan's friend Rick

Anyone else? I'd like to get some idea of how many people I need to feed/get drunk/provide floor space for.

Thanks!

the more the merrier at our place! And if it sounds like we'll have a few people, I'll go ahead and get a pony keg for sat nite. Or should I just get a case of redbull? Well I'll get SOMETHING! I know after a day at the track, energy can be low....

anywho, yeah, meeting here is fine friday evening/night whatever. Maybe that can be GT4 tourney night or something, not like sat night won't be that too.

Directions!

81 S
77 S
85 S
take exit 95B onto 285 West (it would be hard to miss the signs for 285)
go about 6 miles, take exit 25 onto Roswell RD
left at end of ramp, now heading South on Roswell RD
go about 1.5 miles, take a left onto Belle Isle RD
Belle Isle dead ends quickly, turn right into Waterford Place Apts
go through gate (call me if it's closed, just follow someone in, or crash it down) a left and another immediate left, and you should see my E30 and Jess' white Accord, we're the building on the right, ground floor from that side, apt 212.

Mapquest will get you LOST, Belle Isle used to not dead end there, so it brings you in from the other side. So forget that. My phone # is 678-371-9328, call me if you get lost or the gate's shut.

If Jess doesn't come with me, then that would be fine. At this point though, I think she's planning on attending 8)

I think Brian has a seat open too. Between the two of us, you can come with regardless of what Jess does.

is anyone interested in Andretti Speed Lab karting friday night? They're rolling out the new 9HP karts this week, friday after 9's the only time we could do it, it's all spoken for saturday night. If we round up 10 people, we can get a group rate of $38.70 per person for two races. Normally two races would be 7(license)+18(race)+18(race)=$43. Seems kind of silly to pay for the license for those out of town. And it might be crowded this weekend with the intro of the new karts, so getting a group in would get us a reserved block.

Intrested? Know other NASA people that might be? We'd have to get it together and reserved pretty fast. I'm sure I could come up with at least a few people.

BTW, I'm down for mooching all I can off the NASA party sat night, so I probably won't get a keg, but I'll still have some "refreshments" and snacks.
