skip suspension since you're s-line. also lol at your cable. i wish there was a hitch that doesn't look like shit on the b8. yours looks really good. probably helps that you're black.

I'd like to replace the shocks with FSD's, but leave the stock springs in place. On the iphone cable deal, would be nice to come up with a better way to have the cable routed, or some sort of dock/cradle for the phone but I havent seen anything I really like yet. I sort of like this - not sure if they have one for the newer phones though.

Really impressed with the hitch for $130 - easy install (30 minutes), tucks up neatly against the bumper, no drilling into anything.

Just picked one of these up. Not keen on vent mount, but went with it anyway... Super happy.

Shit I never even thought about a vent mount one, that would be a much better location for my android-boost-gauge gadget. I could probably even get another charging cable to leave in the car and snake it through the vent and behind the dash...

The thing I hate about every mount I've seen so far is that i'm going to have to take it out of the mount to change stations/podcast/whatever. So then whats the point?

I don't bother with a mount for my iPhone when I use it for music. I throw it in the cupholder or console, or in the E36 I run the cable out of the armrest because the ebrake is a perfect little cradle that keeps the phone in place during hoonage. Either way, it's close to my hand for when I want to change playlists.

I just want one for the android phone to use as a gauge. The windshield mount I have either makes it too high or too far away, and I don't like shit cluttering up the windshield. The vent one would work much better, that's where a lot of people stick their analog boost gauges, but I'm worried the flimsy little blades in my crappy car wouldn't like the extra weight.

My vanes are pretty stout, but I still mount it on the bottom one so it's resting most of its weight against the dash; I don't think any vent is made for prolonged weight and jarring.

So, its time to make sure some of the maintenance is up to date - going to order things today - oil & filter, trans & diff fluid, brake fluid, plugs, fuel filter, air filters - what am I missing? Car does not "need" anything that I can tell from driving it.

I finally got around to knocking out the maintenance. The car's computer (help computer) said the oil change wasnt due for a while but I got it all done anyways. Trans shifts super smooth now (Motul Gear 300) and car's running great. 3 months and no CEL...
