I see no MMers in HPDE1? :/

Seriously guys, this is the most track time NASA-MA affords all season, the track doesnt get too hot, and there are no racers to worry about messing with your schedule.

x2 bonus - I am instructing this event if you would like me to instruct you.

Oh and the lowest entry fees all year too, I think. Certainly the cheapest NASA MA event this year in terms of dollars per minute of track time.

HPDE1 is approaching fullness. Not quite last call, but gettin' there.

SHOULD there be additional rollover protection, yes. MUST there be, no. Broomstick test could still be enforced and/or instructors could decline (leaving that person sitting on pit road until a replacement is found), but... S2000 with stock hoops is fine for NASA HPDE at Summit Point. I was blasting around Sebring in a stock roll hooped S2000 during a TT session just a couple weeks ago. What awesome track cars, so much better handling than an E36. And I lived to tell the tale.

See what Felton said and come play.

HPDE 1 is not fast enough to be terribly worried about no rollbar, once. Just don't be dumb, drive at your limits and let the crazy instructor (DJ... calling you...) push you enough to learn something but not enough to spin wildly out of control. If you're focused, you will be able to tell the difference.

Hopefully I'll be out in HPDE 1 next season in the VBD car. Obviously, I'll take home the trophy because of my sweet ride.

Peter Denbigh, HPDE 3, read to give wild ride-alongs to any MMer brave enough. Last one I gave to Maeng resulted in us driving backwards via the rear view mirror through the wet grass at VIR. Shady instructor's fault (j/k).

I have to be in Richmond the entire next week for simulation training, so if I can convince my Chief to let me drive my state car up there Friday (or maybe have to ride up with someone from Harrisonburg) I may actually be able to make this event.

I can't say I'll try, but I'll TRY to try to keep it on the tack and be super easy on it.
