for the typical Taurus, there is no such thing as an enthusiast. There is a strong cult following for the generation of SHOs that Adam has.
Remember, I know a guy who owns 6 (I think, might be 5) and one of them is stupid fast (probably faster than anything in our club at the moment).

My point being, by driving a Ford Taurus you really must have enormous balls to have the signature that you do.
Dave, I know about the SHO and all that jazz, and I respect the car for what it is, it is pretty fast. I respect all things fast. It is a real shame that a good majority of "car enthusiasts" in our country are ignorant.

First off, I'd never come out and directly attack you and your car.
The quote in my sig is a joke, take it or leave it. When I'm talking about people racing Civics, I'm making fun of people who put about $50 of sticker mods, a fart can and a neeto carbon fiber hood / intake onto their cars, and then drive them around with the seat far back and their left hand resting on top of the steering wheel. I put the quote there (which is from Maddox btw) in reaction to an event that occurred last Friday night with a white Civic that fit the above description. And trust me, it was VERY anti-climatic (although the look on his face was priceless.)
As for my penis size, I bet you would just love to know.....

I had a '93 SHO for a few months... I loved it
but the whole tendency of the transmission to blow up, repeatedly, was too much for me.
When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.

ATX or MTX? Automatics were never up to snuff (especially 93s), but manuals are all right if you change their fluid and don't do repeated burnouts. If burnouts are your thing though, a Quaife differential solves almost all the trannyÔÇÖs problems. Too bad it gave you so many problems .

It was an MTX. A month after I got the car the transmission sent the diff. pin onto the highway. I replaced it with a junkyarder whose gears were shot.
It really sucked... and it was a bitch of a car to work on. BUT it was fun to drive.
I've still got an account over at SHO Forum, actually...
*edit* no burnouts for me... but the previous owner also had another '93 which had a wet nitrous system which he dragged all the time. He seemed to have a habit of really dogging is cars, which I'm sure played a role in it.

Yeah, the stock diff. is the weakest part of the tranny. When I get 2g, limited slip here I come!

If you ever want helping working on the car just let me know. I did the trans replacement in my driveway, so I know my way around the car pretty well.. not to mention almost everything on it is a 2 man job.

You ever do the upper 60k mile service (shim adjustment / replacement, ect)? I'm planning on doing that sometime within the next few months.
