kinda have to know when to wave which flag, and the need for the tendacy to look down the trak, not too much forward
oh yeah, knowign the proper language when talking on the radio, first time? best to go out with someone who has done it before, which is what they'll do if you tell them
Flagging can get repetitive and boring so get prepared for that also.

every time i've flagged i've been so busy, it was about 12 hours each day of non-stop paying attention and watching out for Team Green Members

Bring sunscreen, water, and be prepared for lots of hours of work. I think it's a good deal, you get to see the action, but ur working the entire day.
NOTE: U are VERY busy if you're by urself...learned that at VIR last time...man, 1-2 breaks and constant action
