Remember, stiffer suspension also puts stress wear on everything else in your car. Youll notice rattles, creaks, arise. Suspension joints/bushings will wear quicker. Know what your getting into. On a brand new car that I was using on a daily driver, I definitely would not go for a stiff suspension.
Just a perspective. A leased vehicle...dont put much money or time into it. Enjoy it, beat the shit out of it in autocross. I wish I hadnt modded my car, I wish I had just beat the shit out of it in autocross and road racing.

yeah... i love it though so who knows what will happen at the end of the term, that's years away; I could still love it and want to purchase it or upgrade to the new model. As far as mods that's all i want to do is flash, lowering springs and wheels.
So to sum-up things i should look for are:
-Quality (durr)
-Avoid coil-overs (cheap ones anyway)
-And a reasonable spring rate of what, 750?
I understand the new car and yeah it's a lease so maybe i could save the OEM stuff put it back on and maybe sell what I used for dirt cheap but who knows. I just want a little tighter turning, i think it's only .81g stock. Hoping lowering would help that. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

something to consider - on the impreza chassis, which uses struts, the camber curve goes to shit if you slam the car. in other words, you start gaining positive camber as you compress the suspension more and more past a certain point, unlike on unequal control arm cars. your car may not suffer the same, however i thought i'd bring it up since you have a similar suspension. maybe see if some respected places like Robispec or RRE have said anything about it.
also, your .81g grip will go way up with just some sticky summer tires. lowering won't have as great an initial effect aside from looking pimp as hell IMO. a good alignment will pay dividends too - zero out your toe and grab as much camber as possible from the stock suspension.
lastly - being a least vehicle, stick to cheap/easy to remove stuff. maybe forgo the springs and just do some hefty swaybars. they're alot easier to remove.

This is exactly what I was about to recommend. Good advice Scott! Since tires are a wear and tear item you can put them on your leased vehicle with no worries and no need to pull it off when you're done with it.
