I can't speak for everyone Scotty, but we didn't really plan to include this event this semester....I know I myself was thinking it would be a great summer event or first weekend of fall semester-event (like our Skyline Drive cruise last semester), but I won't be president then so I don't really have an answer for the TOD question. If there is enough commitment and diligent planning I'm sure we can make it happen. We'll revisit the idea and get everyone's thoughts

Dr Thomas and I discussed going sometime in the spring, it doesnt have to be exactly with MM, a few of us just can go do it on our own. I am thinking somewhere in april

I think we (MM O's + advisors) are going to discuss the TOD trip idea and offer a poll thread in the lounge for an April event, so stay tuned

As I said before, whenever we do the Tail of the Dragon we can stop in my home town and stay a night. It'll break up the 5+ hour drive and hell, maybe I'll even take you city boys on a hay ride. Wink

i was just bringing the TOTD trip up because it's pretty much the only chance i get to do anything with club anymore so i got excited. if it takes place on a weekend i'll be there.

just throwing this out there FYI and planning purposes. a bunch of VW R32's will be doing a huge TOD event April 25-27. probably 20-30 R32's??

I guess I'm letting you MM guys know so that if you're trying to pick a date for doing your own event, then you probably won't want to do the dates listed above unless you want to be crowded with a bunch of R32s

Oh, but don't expect to book any reservations at the surrounding cabins because I believe we're pretty much reserving all of them for us :roll:
