i got my 94 integra on may 9 2000, from the acura dealer in laurel. i had been shopping for either integras or 240s, but the 240s were a bit more expensive. my parents paid for 1/3 of it as my high school grad gift/halfway through college gift. the total was just under $7300 with 86k miles on it. i had grand plans of ricing it out and becoming a street stunna until gerald and rj showed me the light. i used to have these silver 16's on which weighed atleast 20lbs each, and then sold those to a friend to buy the bronze rota c8's which many of you might remember. although i really liked those wheels, i had sell those as well to get 15's so my already crappy LS gearing would be slightly better. i'm now rocking the white kosei k1's which will hopefully be re-riced and painted bronze unless kaan wants white. i still have the crappy blue badges which i originally put on because someone at the gmu parking lot stole my acura badges and left huge scratch marks in the paint. however, i plan on pulling those things off and seeing how it looks without badges at all. i have also removed the blingdigo gauges, but i plan on keeping the clear corners, y0!
back when i got my job and moved to c'ville, i was earning money and had job security, so i decided that i wanted to drop all my money on a house. i shopped around for a few months, talked to a real estate agent, but just crunching the numbers, i just didn't want to cripple myself with house payments. this was about the time when evan let me drive his b00sted pig at beaverun, and also around the time when subaru of america unveiled the STi at the detroit autoshow. 300hp/300ft-lbs!!! after realizing i couldnt afford a house, i still wanted to buy something significant, so why not buy a car? it would let me have a dedicated track car too which i could not worry about as much in case of the spins (which i had a bad case of in groups 1 and 2) and also give me a badass daily driver. i went to brown suby in c'ville and was third on their waitlist. "july" was the soonest i could expect to get it. so i also put a deposit down at stohlman in tysons. i was like 32nd on their waitlist. "august or sept" was the soonest i could expect to get it. then in late may, my car salesman called me and told me they got the first STi in and he wanted me to come down to take a look at it before they sold it. i go down there and my salesman hands me the keys and asks me if i wanna drive it for a bit. after saying "hells yeah", i set off down 64. after i got off the onramp onto the highway he tells me that its mine if i want it because apparently the first dude wanted to have a buyer for it lined up before he bought it, the 2nd guy was an out of towner and the manager wanted to keep it in town, so i was next. so after a bit of deliberation, i signed my life away and let b00st rot take control. and i couldn't be happier about it...
phew, that was long... sorry bout that

4cyl Fiero begat 240SX. 240 totalled twice, begat '90 MX6 to punish myself for being a moron. FWD torture worked, I calmed down, begat Fiero Formula. Working at Bimmerworld begat the E36 325i. Payments on 325i and getting married/moving begat '84 318i.
I wanted something MUCH less valuable to use on the track (crashing the E36 wasn't something I wanted to afford), the weight of the E30 chassis intrigued me, old (simple) tech engine meant I could work on it, and I wanted to try a BMW built as they were meant to be, when they didn't use plastic where it doesn't belong and have to cut corners to compete with the ricemobiles. It was bought, in a pinch, sight unseen with massive rod knock from a yard in NC for $400. Actually a HIGH price for the model/condition, but I was running out of time, and the $$ included delivery. I still wish I had tested that engine to see what a 4th to 1st shift really does. That, with a fresh engine/tranny bought on ebay from an ex SCCA IT guy is my current car. I threw it together with the deadline being our wedding, which I did meet, and its first real drive was 7 hours down to Atlanta.
My first car was a classy '89 Nissan Sentra, the oh so sporty Coupe edition. No major mods, but it was driven until the engine seized (not by me though). Next I decided to upgrade to a '95 Saturn SL1 because it was cheap and only had 57K on the odom. I decided to do an engine swap to the highly sought after '97 SL1 engine (desired mainly for it's tendency to not burn oil) after the '95 engine started chewing itself up (I'm still debating that it was my fault-I checked the oil every two weeks!)
I pawned it off on some poor schmuck when we moved to da ATL and opted for the sleek lines and superior engineering of the '90 Honda Accord (that's LX to you sir).
And that's where we are. So far I've upgraded to Silkolene oil (none of that MobilOne crap for my beauty) and repairs on the reoccurring exhaust leak and replacement of the CV joints are in order. After that, I might autocross it.
The engine in my current car is super, thanks for asking.
