Ugh - finding a location for the reception has been a nightmare with the parents. I now see why so may people are embittered by the wedding experience - except we only have a few days to determine the location or else we are at the demise of her parents. Either way it's not going to be an easy trip for my side...

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Dude I feel your pain. We've been engaged for just over a month have heard the W word more than I ever thought possible. I've been promised that it'll calm down after the reservations are made... I told her if not I'm taking the damn ring back...

You're right, wops are known for handling their women well so it's not a fair comparison. You guys could stand to learn from us.

For me, I really didn't care. If my family wants to attend a wedding they will, no matter where it is. It was just much easier to let Christina plan everything and for me to show up than it was to argue. I did arrange the limo though . Didn't get the rolls royce I wanted b/c it was already book for the weekend .

Not an option with the visa situation for them. Hell, most of her family has never left the country ever - much less left their state (or whatever they call it).

As I always do.
The amount of vodka (zubrowka) that will be drunk between 1900-0400 on the first day of the party will put pretty much all American livers on the disabled list...

Well, I guess even though you're getting married you'll still be like James Bond to me. Especially since you're marrying a Europeanese! Congratulations!

I seem to remember comparing a picture of that guy to the picture on John's credit card at some point. They were pretty close.
I made this thing like 2 years ago for HT. It's pretty hilarious in a "wow, I can't believe I wasted time on it" sorta way.
