The preseason is a trial period, it isn't meant to show off what you have. They scored 10 points off of their first 3 possessions when in the preseason with 13 possessions they didn't score a single point. They have 2nd/3rd string people playing and they're testing their playbook. Preseason is a throw away - it's like a 'sandbox'.

i understand that. there's a difference between not wanting to tip your hat and your 1st team offense staying in an entire half and not being able to score any points offensively against some other team's 2nd string defense. wether or not they were saving their players, their offense didnt score any poitns while the rest of the league did
