I would take 8 students at exbl0 over this shit

I'd almost rather huff a rod for $345. (Note emphasis)

When you say "Pros" do you mean the a-holes that follow MRIU around the US and practice/compete at each city? I really think each driver should only be allowed to drive in one city.

Well the pros are used to set the index for the competitors to beat. For my money I would use national level autocrossers instead of road race guys since you not all good road racers are good autocrossers.

Yes. The "pros" at our station were some richkid Andrew Monteburrito who runs SWCT in an ITR (and is occasionaly on that sportscar revolution show) and some guy I never heard of who claims to run SWC and 24 hr Daytona but g00gle search on his name doesnt turn up shit.
The worst part was the "pro" time that they claimed to have gotten was complete bullshit. They even joked about how they made it up saturday morning.

Sadly, it is quite common of him to go to bed in the single-digit hours.

Our pros werent that bad.. there was some micromanaging but it wasn't that mean, just annoying. One of our guys was Shauna Marinus's boyfriend (why couldn't we have gotten Shauna), and the other "pro" generally left us alone.

However, at 5:30 when there were no more paying customers, the "pros" started playing the whose dick is bigger game, taking about 10 runs each (not on the real course mind you, just on our little skill course) trying to hit 14. They had been saying "14's are possible" but despite running it a total of about 10 times the best I'd seen them do was 15.2. Carlos finally hit a 14.6 after about 20 minutes of me sitting there. THEN we had to take down the course.

#1 fucking rude, since I had been practically begging to have a couple runs just to see what I could do. It's aggravating as hell watching everyone do it, know how to do it and not being able to. The only run they let me have was in the pouring rain on Saturday. On Sunday (in the DRY) they give us shit about "we're not sure you signed the waiver". EAT ME!

#2 it meant we had to leave a half hour later instead of getting a half hour worth of work done ahead of time. They told us it only went til 6. My ass.

Additionally the orange shirt woman, after 15 minutes of cone stacking, told me to make sure the piles were "squared"...

Ah well.. at least they are not taking taxes out.. $345 for the beater fund.

Yeah I had a feeling that the guys at our course were just especially pricks, but the condescending attitude toward the "locals" (in a deragatory fashion) was pervasive throughout the event.

John how long did you stick around on sunday? We left around 6:45 since the agreement was we work until 6:30.
Did they say anything about how the hell we get paid? Or did you just finish stacking tires and leave?

I wonder if her boyfriend knows she was checking me out down in Sebring last year.

I was there til about 7. They had a send off meeting, "thanks for being our slaves" etc etc. RJ won PGR2 for the xbox for having the best time among the courseworkers so if he didn't get it, they owe it to him.

You need to get the paperwork from Michael Krause and send it in to get paid. They said hopefully by the 21st?

Nono.. he won Project Gotham Racing 2 for the xbox. It's up to him to find a system to play it on (or sell it for the Evo2 fund)
