It was a fun time. Drove the new MX-5 and RX-8. The only downfall is that the lines were LOOONG AS Hell. Got there at 11:20am left at 2:20pm. Ran into Happyidiot(Adam), Andy, Andrew, and a high school friend who spun out on the MX-5 course. lol.

Interesting event. I had a better time at the GM Auto Show in Motion, but it's all good. Like Rob said, the lines got pretty long. There were four pieces in total, as I'm sure's been discussed already.... Mazda did a good job at letting you at least get some kind of feel for the cars.

I wasn't all that impressed by the 3 I drove, nor by the RX-8, for that matter. The MX-5 *cough* Miata really was a hoot, though. I didn't exactly turn a stellar time, a 40.1 on the might-as-well-have-been autocross. But it was cool none the less.

Best of all, it was free.

I went with a High School friend adn didnt see any of you. However I went out and did everything. My day was annoying, the rx-8 instructor got pissed cuz I was drifting a little and so he grabbed the steering wheel. So I went over to the egg little challenge and got within .3 of beating it, grrr I didnt expect the car to be that well, but I didnt have time to do it over again. So next I did the Performance challenge. THAT WAS A DAMN HOOT!!! I loved that an didnt do well on the first part of the course but second part of the course I got the feel of it and I came in with a 37 something, but I beat the ttarget time which only a few people did, making me feel better. So I didnt have time to do that a second time and wanted to win those nice BOSE headphones so I went over the matched time thing. So I took it easy knowing I needed to get exactly 23 seconds. So at the end o the run I pull up expecting the guy to punch the card for something, and find out what time so I could doo it again and match the time. BUT NOOO!!!!!!!! I got fucked kicked out!!! They told me to leave cuz I did "too fast a time". they were like anyone in the 19 second range is "asked to leave" SO I DIDNT WIN ENOUGH POINTS TO GET THOSE FUKING HEADPHONES. Goddamn them, I wanted to punch somebody.

Overall, the miata was an awesome car, I really like the new interior although I hate the chrome taillights. Also, it wasnt that bad on the track, but they had put on Michelon Pilot Sports on their track cars so they would seem to handle better. (they dont come on the stock car)
