Where's a good place to get a breaker bar? Was looking on the sears site but couldn't really find anything.

I like the simplicity of the non-ratcheting breaker bars. I've convinced myself that by adding a ratchet system in there you are weakening it because it's sole purpose is to break something loose enough to get it to turn. Get a 1/2" drive ratchet and go to town on it once you've got it loose.

A ratcheting breaker bar....isn't that also known as "a big ratchet"?

Anyway, part of a breaker bar is going tighten then loosen quickly, can't do that with a ratchet.

ratcheting breaker bars? rofl, that just sounds silly. i also have a long piece of metal from harbor frieght that they call a breaker bar. forget a $20 one when a no-name will function exactly the same.

The socket will break before my racheting breaker. My rachet has split impact sockets on multiple occasions.

My husky racheting breaker with pivot head has been a lifesaver on many projects

you buy shitty ratchest. only ratchet I have ever broken is the 1/4" ones. My 1/2" wouldn't break if I tried to take off king kongs nuts.

I got a basic breaker bar from the NAPA store downtown H-burg near Neil's shop. It was less than $20 I believe and works for most things I've done so far.
