cool. i'll be there late as usual (damn night class). if no one needs them for the saturday run i could just bring all three on sunday to verona and we could share them there. but if you need one for the saturday run i won't be in town, so you would need to pick it up before hand.

That is not the right class for your car though.
You're street mod.... if not DMod (i'm not sure of all of what you've done to the car).

RJ! I'm street modified!!! Thanks for the Info!!! Good thing I registered myself in SM!!! Tell me more!!!
My point is that PD is not a prepared car. I'm in the right class and my insinuation is that he isn't. But I guess it really doesn't matter.

In my head I call Pete PD and Ryan RJ. So if that is confusing to the rest of the world I will start to use full names.

What the fuck are you talking about?

I'm talking about how Peter Denbigh with a 85 Merkur XR4ti is registered for the Verona event in D Street Prepared.
I will take this slow for you...I jokingly asked if I could get away with the same thing.
Guess why I asked if I could 'get away' with placing my car in street prepared?
Because SCCA Street Prepared Rules state:
"Turbochargers may not be added, changed or modified."
Guess what...Pete and myself both have turbochargers that did not come from the factory...therefore they have been modified. Which places him in Street Modified with me.
But I was only making a joke...I don't care what class he puts himself in...as far as I can tell the only people who will complain about what class you choose to run are the people who are seriously trying to win that class. And I'm not trying to win street prepared. Because i'm in SM.
So RJ...before you pull the f bomb out on me...ask yourself...do you have a fucking clue what the conversation is about.
Now because I don't do a lot of autoxing...tell me where I'm wrong if I am.

I was making a helpful suggestion because the classing nomenclature for SCCA autocrossing is confusing at best, on a good day, to someone who's been around it a long time. How the hell was I supposed to know that was a joke? Maybe I was wrong to make ass-u-me-ptions that you werent sure where your car fit in to the alphabet soup of SCCA but damn, no need for you to fly off the handle.

Heck if I know. SCCA has the XR listed in DSP. So if I've modified the turbo, swaybars, and have wider wheels/tires, where does that place me? SM?
Experienced guys feel free to suggest.

Me + 2 buddies are registered for Saturday. I think I'm DSP (I have a cat-back exhaust, so I'm not sure what that puts me at). And I just have a little rant here...why is there a ladies category? Is that supposed to mean that because I have ovaries I'm slower than y'all with testicles? Please. Obviously we are all confused about the SCCA class designation, I'm not too worried about if I'm stock or street, but I guess for future reference it would be nice to know.
You'd be in DStock. Exhaust and replacement shocks as well as R-tires are allowed. Yeah I feel the same way about Ladies class too. Some women still opt for it but the fast women do not.

The modified engine/turbo puts you in SM

unless something has changed since last year, an exhaust will put her in sts.

Exhaust is stock legal from cat-back. It is "free" so even jsut a straight pipe (no muffler) to save weight is acceptable.
