Edibles please

The edibles market has finally caught up in WA. These days you can find a 10 mg dose for $2.50, depending on the type of product. I love beer, but I've moved farther and farther away from it as the cost of edibles has dropped to less than the cost of one or two beers. I still drink it, but it's far more ritualistic than anything. If you can avoid the munchies, weed is far less calories.

Also, the beer scene in Seattle is pretty lame for someone who cannot stand hops. Why does a lager need hops???

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

You shut your whore mouth.

The exploding beer market... not that I ever wanted to keep up but its not possible if you wanted to. For the few beers a week I drink, the local owned beer & wine place across the street always has something interesting to try.

Heady Topper is fuckin' overrated, too. So is Pappy.

I'm not sure where else to ask this but I know many of you guys do database stuff and love making Google doc lists (especially Joey) but the finance and I have been trying a bunch of different wines lately, in part because we need to pick one for the wedding but also for fun. I was wondering if anyone had a list or database template or something that they use for beer or wine with categories and stuff setup and a simple fill in or drop down selection for options. I mean I could just write down the name and style and like or dislike but just wondering if anyone has taken it a step further or is that just something I think about

Anyone had any Montauk Beers out of Long Island? Had a bunch this weekend at a bachelor party. Not bad. They had a good sessions ale and also tried a watermelon summer beer. Too much jolly rancher flavor for me. Also a metric fuck ton of coors lights was consumed.

Really? I fucking hated the one i had, think it was the Summer Ale and stayed the hell away since for some reason (not like they would all be crap.) Keep a look out for the session though.

Did go to Oyster Bay brewery this weekend which had a pretty good Saison and IPA. So many breweries out here i had no idea about. Not sure if they distribute that far out, but Great South Bay Brewery also has a fantastic cream ale.

Awww, shit. Still haven't. I keep hearing different things on it though in regards to whether it will age or to just drink it as fresh as possible.

To be clear - I did not like the watermelon summer whatever it was. Way to sweet and weird jolly rancher aftertaste.
