I love this. Don't care who says what, the Flex is one of the coolest family haulers around

Hate the wheels, but that grill makes me reminiscent of a Range Rover Sport.

WEEEEEEEEEELL not only that, but you can program it to your key, so when my key unlocks the car, the car goes "Oh shit, Rex is gonna drive, better set all the shit the way he likes it or he'll feed me premium again."

Sidenote: on the way back from Ohio (which included the I-79 through WV and 68 through western MD) I got a flat 20mpg. Can't complain about that at all.

Had this on my yukon denali, truck and z06. Combined with easy exit/entry (it puts seats all the way back when you unlock the car from the fob). Problem is when you borrow your wife/girlfriend's key and it slides back for entry, then you put the key in the ignition.......

The seat starts sliding forward...okay...then more..uhh this is closer than I remember..then more...OMG I am being crushed by my CAR!!!!

I literally thought I was going to lose my legs. That was the day I turned off "easy entry", I don't need the stress level of my car scaring that its going to crush me the next time I switch keys.

This used to be a real problem when I was working for my Dad. You'd get into a trade-in car at a dealership and realize too late that it's previous owner was 4'11". Trying to find the buttons to stop it was like the trash compactor scene in Star Wars.

Our Mini has personalized keys and I've told the wife more than once it should also do the seats. Of course that would prolly require power seats...

It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Nice Rex! I have only ridden in one, but I distinctly remember climbing in and thinking "Well, this is WAY cooler than I expected. I'd hit it."

Score on the Ecoboost too. Props.

I bet if you look through your dash menus you can enable "easy entry/exit" which will pull the seat back/steering wheel up when you get out.

It does. Not the steering wheel since it's manual but the seat does retract all the way to the rear to be like "you have arrived at your destination, sir."

With an obligatory "for family purposes", I've always thought these were weird enough to be cool, especially with the turbo motor. I've never seen the inside of one but they better have a ton of space considering their size and shape. Chalk me up in the "approve" column.

Edit: shit especially if they all do this:

Yes, they "all do that", yes it is 4 sunroofs. That's the "panoramic" roof. They all have sunshades, but only the very front one tilts/opens, the rest are just "hey look at the sky".

And yeah there's a fuck fuck fuckload of room in this sonofabitch.

I tried to convince the wife to get one, but it's just too big for city living.

I don't have time to read all these posts, well I do because the work Truck is broken down is goddamn Crozet and I'm waiting on a tow truck from Richmond but I don't feel like it but anyways....

Nice pickup Rex! These do something for me. Don't know why. I gotta check it out in person. Maybe the last gen will be prime for the "family" car when it comes that time in 5 years. Will probably be too old and dated by then but I want one of these things bad, as long as I have my own car to drive lol

I'll tune it when I can run it against your 911, deal?

Meanwhile, while this is the most powerful (but probably not the fastest) car I've ever owned, it's also far and away got the most swanky shit. Rain sensing wipers? Dope. I've talked about the power memory seats but I honestly took it for granted until this morning. Wife drove car last night, set all of her shit up. I hopped in the car this morning and...changed nothing. That was awesome. Every car should have that.
