I'm waiting for them to make a microchip that installs in your brain and can get wireless internet and make calls in my head. And you can type and browse websites just by THINKING ABOUT IT. I would loop Redtube videos all day long. I WOULD CAMP OUT FOR THAT SHIT.

Oh my gawd. I'm wondering how long the madness is going to last. I work at the Fair Oaks store and worked the overnight shift on Thursday PM, prepping the store, then opened Friday AM as well.

Hopefully activation has been fixed for now. We'll see - I'm back tomorrow, 1-5.

I'm not sure, honestly. I would go on the store site here and see if you can make a Genius Bar appointment or not. I know the bar was closed on Friday but they should be re-opened now. Definitely make an appointment, though.

So the apple store in clarendon was out of ifones, I thought it would be pretty empty right when they open sunday morning and I could get someone to look at my ipod.

Wrong.

10 minutes after they opened and the place was packed and all 50 employees in the store are punch drunk on the apple [Image: kool.gif]

. And they dont have any 'walk in' help. "Sir, you have to go online and make an appointment". whiskey tango foxtrot? Sorry, dont have any appointments today.

I understand the idea of making the appointments so you get a block of time and you dont have to wait, but during the time I was there, there were quite a few people that did not show up for their time spots. So why not leave those open for people that dont have appointments?

Fuck apple and their fucking ass backwards fucking service.

I did play with the ifone, and its pretty slick. Maybe i'll get one when the rush ends.

I've got to call Apple to get them to mail my sister system recovery discs, under warranty, since the store told her that her only choice was an $80 upgrade to Leopard, and wouldn't help her.
