Chris, don't go the way mapquest says.
I live in lynchburg which 29 goes right through.
I go 81 south to Lexington and then take 501 to Lynchburg. From there you get on the expressway and then get on 29 south. Plus you get to drive some really nice twisty moutain roads on 501.

i think Nick has a good point. mapquest usually figures out the shortest route.......which isn't necessarily the fastest.

plus i like the sound of some twisty roads 8)

Plus you spend less time on 29 if you go 501.

In case you can't tell i despise 29 :x

I will post up directions before the meeting if anyone wants to try the 501 way.

awesome! I forgot about that 501 road ( used to live in Lynchburg). the trailer won't like the turns, but lets take it.

finished prep today. Hood pins installed tomorrow = 240 is ready to go. Been driving the shit out of the car today and nothing has broken, so it just might be good to go.
