that is actually a really great suggestion, Adam. I'd love to watch the faces on the other rallyx-ers as you up in that.

It's still got that vtec-ish fun motor. But, yeah no LSD.
I've seen it all now. Someone actually suggested a camry and someone else backed up that suggestion. I don't even

I feel the same way every time someone suggests a CX-5... or any other CUV/SUV for that matter.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
Well that's because the CX-5 is great for those who don't want a wagon.
And I meant corolla in my previous post but whatever.

in case anyone is interested, here is the Si i attempted to buy the first time around that fell through. its in Raleigh. owner is genuinely a good dude and anal about the car, his wife got in an accident when we were trying to settle the deal and he had to pull the car back off the market until now. i wouldn't blink at the mileage - he was very well versed on the maintenance and very confident about an inspection, which for me included a compression/leakdown. i think its in better shape than mine and the nicest stock 4-door Si i saw in my searches.

if anyone cares, i can give you his number directly.

also, as a final followup, if anyone cares, i can put together a thread of how the insurance claim went and some things i felt made my claim go better than if i went in cold. it might not be a process some people here are familiar with, particularly if you're younger. its not a cut and dry process and there is bargaining to be had to get your best possible payout.
