Just a few quick tips from an autocross vet and person who's involved in putting these tire killer parties together.
Come early and get teched early: Showing up when tech is about to close is a bad move...
If you're using our painters tape please dont waste it taping up the sides of your car to gaurd against rock chips or make funny designs...that stuff isn't that cheap and I'm the guy who goes out and buys it. :evil:
Above all: Have fun and learn alot about your car and yourself.

Food's cooking. 2 pots of manly chili, 1 pot of Vegan chili, 1 pork shoulder that has cooked overnight and should be good and tender ready for Carnitas. Beer has been chilled, liquor has been opened and tested for quality assurance. 10 alumni, and 2 MM dawgs piled into 1 house, and ready to DO THIS! Jason's already helping with course design, and Tech this morning. So, lets get this party fuckin' started already. Now to get a shower so I actually get hot water at my own house. Damn, the weekend isn't even over yet and I've had a blast. Between the Thursday birthday celebrations, Friday dinner at Quaker Steak and all of today's shenanigans... Jeez. Great times.

Thanks to Dave for the co-drive, to Rex and Julie for letting us abuse their house, Kaan for making Heart Attack On A Toothpick, and the officers who orchestrated a good deal of today. Always fun seeing alums and trying to lift Channing's car, too.

Can't wait for VIR in two weeks!

Sorry, had to say it. :dunno: You looked a lot better today than yesterday. At the next autocross, walk the course a couple times and then work on braking before the obstacle. You went in a little too hot into the chicago box and the second slalom each run. Work on that and then smooth, seamless transitions between each area and you'll pick up a lot of time.

I'll just act like the ride along Saturday helped you find some time :lol:

Also, congratulations to Peter Tyson, for taking FTP Saturday, Samuel Reiman, the 2012 G Stock champion, David Lingenfelter for taking second in points in STS (holy crap Brock had an awesome season), Adam Flint for taking SM points championship, DJ for winning in tire class Saturday, and anyone I missed. Not sure anyone could say that MM isn't the premier motorsports club in Virginia.
