I blackstone labbed the MR2 when it was still being daily driven, and the Valvo High Mileage stuff was still good at 5K. The Castrol synthetic/redline synth combo was still good according to blackstone lab after 10k in the Outback. I just added a quart at 5k and I was good.
Also DJ, if your car isn't burning any oil then your rings are galling your cylinders to hell.
I hate oil threads cause everyone goes crazy about what/how/when about oil and change intervals.
