So I was Driving Home

Over the summer some woman put her van into the woods on the left of that picture while trying to cross that stretch. That was during that week of rain we got in July. They had to wait like a week to get it out of there. That road floods all the time.
Was it really that rainy out there?
P.S. I live about 2 miles from that picture.
