That's not true. You have the right to refuse a search. They have to have some kind of evidence or reason, not just that you opposed the search.
Also remember warrants are specific in what they're allowed to search for, so should you find yourself in this situation and you're getting busted for something, if it's not on the warrant, then it's not admissible.
