I tried to put a couple coats of wax/polish over the area to try and protect it for the time being. Tips and tricks to help clean the hood are still more than welcome.Nah I just left it. It should be fine, as long as you come back to start it ever so often.
Lee.. I might be leaving it at home soon, did you do anything special while you left it at home just sitting? I've heard that topping off all fluids and an occasional start up / quick drive will allow the car to stay healthy? I don't plan on leaving it alone for more than two weeks at a time being that break is coming up soon and I drive back and forth to work everyday while I'm home. Thanks for any opinions.
