Electric turbos with currently available battery/energy storage/alternator dont work, within any cost restraints.
I'm sure it could work, but an exhaust driven snail is simpler, cheaper, and more efficient.
I would be interested to see how this works though - could be accomplished with a sequential setup, although the 3rd gen RX7's sequential setup was a clusterfuck of colossal proportions.
