i recommend this. I know that the only thing that i've driven on track is a 140whp Civic Si and a (est) 125 whp Integra. Both FWD and i've even had my scary 'oh shit' moments on track. i can't imagine this feeling with 20-30% more speed with a lot more power. I would hold back from pushing the car hard for a while until you feel very comfortable on-track. This car will have some VERY serious power on-track (scenes of that Evo in the Pit Wall keep coming up when i think of a lot of power with little or no track experience :x ). I think you should definitely come out and take a few ride along, hopefully in an STi!
i wouldn't sell it just yet, just see if it's the car for you on-track. I'd just take it slow and have some fun. Hurting yourself in HPDE 1 is unlikely if you have a level head about it with an ego that's left in the paddock. I think you've got a good head on your shoulders and i would love to see you on the track! I'll start practicing my point-by's
