Yes we do, and that's the plan! Although why in the hell do the extra bases cost almost as much as another car seat!!!
I never sat in a child seat growing up, hell, I never wore a seat belt, I sat on the trans hump in my parents old merc's. Sometimes I would sit on the arm rest just so I could be at the same level, all this crap, it's bullshit.
No one can really tell you because you have to find out for yourself but after the scared shitless phase is over, then the I am so tired , I can't believe it phase sets in, you will get into a routine as best you can and will see that a lot of stuff in the "magazines" is fluff. Even more so for the second child...with the second, there is no scared shitless phase either.
