I actually gave this one a ton of thought. Really, I have an emotional attachment to the Chrysler Corporation. Not DaimlerChrysler...but the "old Chrysler." I long for the gone by days when the Pentastar adorned our products proudly. I call them "our" you see. I'm the person who would proudly wear the bumper sticker "Buy American before it is too late!" So really, I don't think you could ever get me to buy an Asian branded car unless it was a Mitsu/Chrysler. Even that is a stretch. I have no real love for DSMs. A Conquest or D-50 are the only real winners in my heart from that partnership.
That having been said, I was never interested in any European brand mark before joining MM. I truly think I could own an e30 or e36 with no problems. But they would need to be M3s... I couldn't own one as a daily driver POS. So, I could never really call any other brand's cars "My car." They would be "the other car I own...just for Sundays or whatever." I'm a very sentimental person, I think it is sentiment more than anything else that makes me feel the way I do.
