Absolutely. Personally, if I was worried about gas mileage (which I'm not), I would get a diesel. I'm far too short-sighted to care about the long term environmental effects of a single car that I'll own in my lifetime.
This is pretty evident with the STi, which is probably the most polluting monstrosity of a machine on the road aside from a dump truck lol!
This is also of course a huge point of hypocrisy for me, as part of the argument that led me towards vegetarianism years ago was the environmental aspect. What impact do I have as one person really? haha :lol:
