Just more proof that most Americans are willing to sacrifice NOTHING in the persuit of fuel savings. I honestly think prices will have to be double what they are now before any majority of us changes what they drive.
I'm also surprised about Prius dissapointment. When we took one out for a test drive years ago, took it up a mountain, thrashed it around on the street, flooring it all the time, I think it got 42 MPG for the trip. I, for one, was impressed!
