I went over this in my Rotary Presentation, which you weren't there for. Rotaries, by design, burn oil. They have special injectors to drip oil onto the rotor to lubricate it. Synthetic doesn't burn nearly as well, and can gum up the internal werkin's of the wankel.
So it's dinosaurs for the RX-X.
Can't you disable the MOP and run 2 cycle oil in your gas to lube the rotors/seals?
