It's kind of a paradox to me that the slower you drive that car, the worse off you are... LOL!
You have to make sure the engine is nice and warmed up, but winding out an engine increases combustion temps which helps de-sludge an engine and also burn of hydrocarbons, and on a piston car it seats the rings.
