I'm with RJ on this one, I highly recommend trying to find a server/bartender job. Not just for the money, but it might help you with obtaining some skillsets that might make you more marketable to employers.
Personally I was a pretty shy kid before I started waiting tables and bartending, but now its easy for me to approach anyone and what not.
Just my .02 cents, and I think I'll add something to this list and maybe a little emo
