Special circumstances arise and if we're made aware of it beforehand we do our best to accomodate. Most other participants understand these things and don't gripe when they see a competitor join the field after the 3 minute call. If the guy just got up there late for no other reason then just being late I have no sympathy for him and he starts from the pits.
