Whatever you do, pick a brand and stick with them. I recommend Russel, but I have also used some the aeroquip fittings and I Have 1 summit fitting (not AN but an adapter). If you mix and match, they will leak. Not a lot, just enough to make a mess and get things dirty. Over the past few weeks I have gone through most of mine and switch everything out to Russel, I missed 2 and they are the only 2 seeping leaks that I have now. Just take special care in cutting the line too. I use a 32 tooth hack saw, but if you are careful a fast cutoff wheel can work as well, just be sure to clean out the inside of the line first.
OH and get some Vice protectors, this will keep the bling finish on the fitting when you are shoving the hose down in it.
