ok picture this... you are roll'n down 81... 29... 95... any major highway. for some reason a tractor trailer is next to you... they merged on... it is going fast enough to pass you... you are going fast enough to pass it... and for whatever reason you are located right around the trailor hitch area but in your lane... when he decides to come over.... you have two options...

brake the 53ft OR accelerate the 15 feet.... all to get out of the way of the tractor trailer.

and SV650 couldnt get out of its own way if that happens... at least not like other bikes... if forces you to be much more defensive when you have a bike with low power. its bascially a 65hp/55ftlbs bike... when other older and newer 600 inline 4s have about 80hp/50ftlbs... you cant crap the whip on a 650... now... Steves SV1000.... i'm sure WILL get out of the way... lol... but thats not what we are talking about.

trust me... this happend to my friend and i as WE got onto the highway... the truck was in the lane to our left... he came over on us, ever though we were both accelerating past it... he had to go on the shoulder to make sure he didnt get run over... and i just blasted down the middle of the lane to get in front of the guy. he didnt even stop, hesitate, nothing... we had to get out of his way...
