I take it you guys did the RV thing? Were there a lot of spring breakers there? When we crewed for Bimmerworld we really didn't see that many folks our age out there, but then again we left after the World Challenge Touring race.
Yeah, we got a new forum last semester.
We decided against the RV mainly to save money, plus none of us had anything against camping. Last year six of us drove down in a Mazda3 and a Honda Accord. I actually ended up sleeping in the driver's seat of the Mazda3 and it was suprisingly comfortable, lol.
There are tons of people our age partying in green park, which is where we camp. It seemed like there were quite a few local people there just for the party, probably on spring break.
The past two years we left Blacksburg Wednesday night, drove through the night and arrived at the track early Thursday afternoon. And we leave right after the race ends on Saturday night so we are back in time for people to get school stuff or whatever done on Sunday afternoon. Except for being really REALLY tired on the drive back, this plan seems to work very well.
The first thread I posted gives a good rundown of what we do, how we do it, and how much everything costs.
TONS of fun.
