The Marines have their own martial arts program, in which you have to achieve higher ranking belts, from tan to sixth degree black belt, before you can graduate training. So basically, you have to be able to kick ass before becoming one. Its a mix of Jujitsu with other things, including knife fighting. Theres also the bullpen fighting, where they put you up against five or more other Marines and have to succeed in defending yourself.
I know several Marine MSG's, some of the most elite in the corps (top 1% qualify). I knew one that would just practice hitting pressure points on a dummy body all day. Def. not to be messed with
