As an intern, you aren't seeing much responsibility but as you climb up the ladder, your workload generally is contingent on your responsibility level. I.E. the more you're in charge of, the busier you'll be.

Yeah I understand the intern point, hence the reason I dont mind the time, but then Ive talked to full timers at BEA who still say they surf the net a lot of the time. Same goes with where I worked last summer. Apparently the gov't is full of slackers
