But, the new Miata is also alot faster as well.
uh, and who are you talking to?
Every Pro-SM MX5 cup driver that has talked about the new car has raved.
They are putting down ITS lap record times already with almost no development into the car. The little bugger is FAST

I would have to agree with Evan and RJ, only because I drove it myself on a small "autocross" course with the Mazdaspeed event. IT is tight, it feels good, and the balance is almost perfect. I absolutely loved the car in terms of handling. If I was looking for something to stay stock and race this car would probably be it. But I do enjoy much more power, and once you do that with a miata it really messes everything up as they lose traction too easily with turbo. We will see how the sky redline does, I am waiting till those come out and test-drive one. If it is all that I want it to be (hopefully) I will get one in about 5-6 years when used prices fall down and use it as a weekend/track bitch.

The sky is much more beautiful than the solstice. The miata is nice, but they have to make a mazdaspeed very soon to compete with the redline sky as it is almost a sin now to have a car less than 200 crank horsepower.
