My New Gat (Now w/ Review and more!)

Thats a nice lookin Gun John! I prefer blue to the satin but it is a nice look with the dark wood. How do you like the checked piece on the front of the grip? I have been thinking about getting that w/ stock GI grips or getting a Pacmire American Legend grip. That debate still rages in my head. You will get the jams every now and again, mine still jams one or two in 50, and I have put hundreds though it in the year I've had it. I wonder how much one of those would cost a joe off the street? My grandfather can buy from those stores (Airforce, retired) so I might see what all they got. My .45 is getting up in age, 70+ years, and I am just worried that wear is gonna tear it up. I guess that is what I got the hi-point for though. Anytime you wanna go shooting let me know, I would like to compair the Colt to yours. Also, if you want to start loading you own ammo I would be interested in going in on the equipment needed to do it. The cost of ammo keeps me from taking the 1911 out as much as I would like.
