Mike hit it right on the spot, oh and they only add 30 pound to the weight of the vehicle. I really dont care what class im in, im out there to have fun. Putting on an aftermarket turbo pretty much put me into the top class in autocross with guys that have full suspensions and V710s.....
This car is first daily driver, second autocrosser, third track car. Technically the weight I would gain with the lambo doors is heavily outweighed by the 8lbs per wheel I lost when I switched from the stockers to 5zigens. 25lbs per wheel stock, 17lbs aftermarket. And dont bitch about it being further from the hub, the stockers were 17s and my aftermarkets are 18s.
If I cared about weight, I wouldnt have leather interior, power windows, a/c, power sunroof, amp, heavy-ass type-r components...etc etc..
If I like it, ill do it. Ill have a track car someday that ill strip down, but I consider myself not all too bad considering im a freshman in college.
