Sway bar rubbing

I have no idea what the front suspension setup of an MR2 looks like, but turn your steering wheel full lock and pull the key out (so that the steering wheel locks in place at full lock). Then get out of the car and feel how close the tire is to the sway bar.

I've seen E30's have this problem with big tires (and a big bar, depending on where the bend is).
