I'm so glad I quit MMORPGs. I was completely addicted to Everquest for like 3 years, and somehow i managed to get good grades, get laid, and party. I have no clue how.
I sold two of my highest end accounts, I owned about 3 at the height of my gaming. The best account had a total of 192 days, 20 hours played on it. That's 192 days of total time being logged into the game while playing. That's 1/3rd of 1 year of my entire life based on one account, in one game. Completely staggering to me.
That account I sold to a lawyer in Louisiana for $550. Another older one I sold for $350, and I stripped all the good gear off my alt's account and either sold it or gave it away to friends.
I would start playing a game like that again if I hit the lottery and never had to do anything productive again in my entire life. It was so ridiculously fun because I was so good at it, but at the same time it was so bad for you hah.
